I'm Kaya Peters (he/him), a multimedia artist, sound designer, and urbanist based in Berlin.
My work explores the intersections of sound, space, and storytelling, focusing on memory cultures, postmigrant society, and social movements. Combining critical urbanist perspectives with experimental media techniques, I create immersive experiences that reflect the complexities of identity and collective memory.
I hold master’s degrees in Urbanism (M.Sc.) and Media Art and Design (M.F.A.) from Bauhaus University Weimar. Through my transdisciplinary approach, I aim to spark conversations about belonging, resilience, and transformation in contemporary urban life.
I am currently a Research Fellow in the Curating and Management in Public Institutions (CAMPI) program at Galerie Wedding – Raum für zeitgenössische Kunst, part of the Department of Art, Culture and History of the District Office of Berlin-Mitte.
